Croatian courses for foreign workers: for employers
Workers who understand instructions and colleagues settle in faster and make fewer mistakes. And from June 2027, many workers from outside the EU need Croatian at A1.1 to extend their residence and work permit.
What we do
- Plan: how many workers, where and in which shifts. The course is for complete beginners, so no prior knowledge is needed.
- Voucher: you apply for your workers in the HZZ Moj vaučer app, at least 16 days before the course. We prepare the offer (one of the required documents), send clear instructions with the list of documents, and help you submit. You pay only the remainder; HZZ pays us the voucher part after the course.
- Classes: in our classrooms in Split, Zagreb or Zadar, or at your premises anywhere in Croatia; groups of 8 to 15, and several companies can share a group. Flexible times: mornings, afternoons or weekends, usually twice a week for 120 minutes, so the course takes about three months (three to four as agreed with the employer; intensive courses in two).
- Your sector: four of the thirteen topics are the language of your workplace.
- Certificate of completion: with 70% attendance and a passed final test.

HZZ approves a voucher for each worker; amounts are for the whole 70-hour programme. We send you the offer and instructions for the application, and help you submit it.
