About Jantar – International House Split
Učilište Jantar – ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih: an adult education institution and language school in Split since 1992. Teaching Croatian to people who move here from all over the world is part of our everyday work.

Croatian at Jantar
Our team of Croatian teachers has been with us for more than ten years and works with foreigners every day. Every year they take further training in teaching learners with whom they share no common language.
Jantar’s team sits on the presidency of the Croatian community of foreign-language schools (Zajednica škola za strane jezike), which works with the ministries on adult education and language learning, including Croatian for foreigners.
